David J. Cantor, D.M.D., P.C.

Dr. Cantor is a graduate of Cornell University and the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He completed his oral surgery residency at the Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C. and the University of Pittsburgh Montefiore Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He has served as president of the Middle Atlantic Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and is a member of numerous professional organizations. He is a Fellow of the American College of Dentists, and has been named a “Distinguished Practitioner of Dentistry” by the National Academies of Practice.

Dr. Cantor is a member of the active staff of Inova Fairfax Hospital and is past Chief of the Section of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is a member of the Emeritus staff at the Washington Hospital Center and is a past Vice Chairman of the department. He is also a Consultant in Oral Surgery at the Northern Virginia Mental Health Institute.

Dr. Cantor is involved in all phases of the practice of oral and maxillofacial surgery. He has many years of experience in the treatment of dento-facial skeletal disorders, and in the placement of dental implants.
